Thanks for the kind words:

Going to a NASCAR race is supposed to be exciting and fun. After dealing with two hotels (Ontario CA and Avondale AZ) that cancelled our race weekend reservations, misrepresented seats and total traffic gridlock, we asked ourselves,

"Why bother?"

As a last resort, I decided to look into a NASCAR tour. I went through several websites and spoke to some representatives. The only one that popped out was racingtours.com. The amiable Ron House answered all my questions. This tour was exactly what we were looking for. I signed us up for the last 2006 Phoenix race and the 2007 Las Vegas race.

Our Phoenix experience was all that Ron and racingtours.com promised. . . .

Our nonsmoking room was more than adequate, equipped with a refrigerator and microwave. The complimentary breakfast had selections for every taste. There were good restaurants an easy walk from the hotel.

The bus limo was comfy and convenient! We liked that we could bring whatever we wanted to the track. The bus never moved from its parking spot close to our seats, making it easy to drop off and pick up cameras, jackets and souvenirs.

Many brought their own coolers and stopped by frequently during the day to partake of their favorite libation. Some napped. If it had rained, we would have had a dry place to wait it out and party. Our seats were perfect. It was nice to watch the race and not stress about the gridlock we would face after it was over. Instead, we leisurely watched the Victory Lane celebration, got on the bus, opened our favorite libation and relaxed. Of course it's not just the tour but the people on the tour that can make or break the fun. I think Ron with his good sense of humor attracts the right sort of client. It was clear that racingtours.com has many repeat clients with whom they have developed a friendship. There was a lot of good-natured teasing going back and forth. It wasn't raucus, just a good time. It was what a NASCAR race experience should be.

We can't wait for the Vegas race with racingtours.com.
